You will get a lump free cup of your tea. This is a traditional Chasen, and wood spoon it is made from all one piece of bamboo, so it will last many many uses. It will give you a better tasting cup of matcha tea as well, because it breaks up the fine powder, making sure all of the tea is blended and letting the aroma out as well.
