100% Raw Organic Unrefined Shea Butter - African Ghana - Grade A Ivory - Highest Quality (1 Lb /16 Oz) - Free E-book Recipe - Satisfaction Guarantee - Rich in Vitamins A, E and F - Safe for All Skin!
What is Shea Butter?
Well besides the fact that most people call it a miracle butter, and it has so many uses.
Shea Butter is extracted from the nuts of a African Karite tree. That tree grows from Guinea and Senegal to Uganda and South Sudan.
In africa it has been used for healing, cooking, skin, hair and more. They make confections like chocolate out of it. ( I have not tried this with this brand, so I don't know if this one is edible.)
Shea butter can range in color, from a brightish yellow to a light ivory or white. The brighter or more yellow it is means the less it has been refined.
It smells a touch of nuts, and sometimes smoky. There is a natural fat extracted from the seed of the African shea tree.
How to use your shea butter
It is hard when you get it, sometimes even flaky. But don't worry, you can use it just like this, or you can make some simple things to use it.
So my favorite, is a Shea butter skin serum.
What I do is take This Shea butter and melt it a bit, but only a bit, you don't want to heat it up more than melting as it can loose it's healing effects.
( use a double broiler. Like one pan of boiling water, then another with your shea butter in it. Only takes a few mins. )
Then I take that, mix with some coconut oil, the ones that are liquid form. And I add either lemon, or lavender essential oils. You can add what ever essential oil you like, or none that is up to you and just makes it smell really good. And gives you those benefits as well. That is it, you mix it up put it in what ever kind of jar you want. You have a amazing product for your legs, face, arms. You will be amazed at how well this works.
You can also make a simple Shea butter soap, ( this is not for washing so much as to get nice soft skin.) You melt the Shea butter as I said above, pour in molds, add a touch of essential oils if you want first. after it is set up about in a day pop them out, and let them dry out for a few weeks, this will make them hard like soap, so when you use them it is like a bar of soap.
Shea butter is known for so many things, can help with wrinkles, stretch marks, Hard and cracking heels. and more.....
What can you use Shea Butter for?
It really is a miracle product, you will love it, you can use it straight out of the bag as well.
